The chain offers plenty of traditional street foods to choose from
The app rewards you with points to make towards future payments
Their main speciality the kebab was super tasty but "impossible to chew"

The "cheat on meat" franchise The Filthy Vegan has been present within the street food scene since 2019, initially starting as a delivery service from within co-founder James Freeman's kitchen offering customers the chance to try their famous plant-based kebabs.
With a such appraisal, the Nottingham-based business has gone on to change the way people taste and perceive plant-based foods at festivals, events and even pop-up stalls.
But within three months, The Filthy Vegan has now opened two brand new stores located at East Midlands Designer Outlet in Derbyshire and Portland Building in Nottinghamshire.
The brand will be joining several fast-food outlets such as Burger King and Subway in offering good quality food, service and a plant-based alternative to your beloved burgers, hot dogs and more.

And with figures of over 25 million people being health and consumer conscious regarding their food and where it comes from as stated by Vegetarian Society. Many chains and restaurants have adapted to expand their menus.
Although this is pleasant news, for me and many others with a specific lifestyle or dietary requirement. Many of these tend to turn out to be quite bland in flavour and lack variety, take McDonald's veggie meals for example.
Whereas Filthy Vegan aims to bring a new sense of life to traditional street food cuisines like their highly anticipated Kebab, which is a common thing on people's minds to have after a good night out and to cure any hangover blues.
All be it I've heard great news along the grapevine about them, and it is refreshing to see that there are more options to choose from, but what is it like and is it all what it's cracked up to be?
How to get the most out of their app and get a cost-effective meal out at Filthy Vegan?
A meal at Designer Outlet in Derbyshire is quite reasonable. Starting from £9.45 with any choice between a beyond cheeseburger, filthy kebab or their moving mountains hot dog paired with fries and a drink.
But for a kid's meal, it costs £3.95 for either a hot dog or nuggets. These prices do vary on the place and how much you order.
On arrival ensure that you have downloaded their mobile app, you'll thank me later for this. As essentially it rewards you with points with each transaction you make, meaning you could save £5 on a future order. Beyond that, it allows for an easy payment process.
The fast-food chain also provides the option for delivery via Just Eat, Deliveroo or their app in which you can come and collect your order yourself.
What is the service like when you arrive at The Filthy Vegan- and what is it you expect to see?

The store is designed to be on brand for a plant-based fast-food outlet with the use of its striking green colour palette, but as the business grows it would be nice to see further changes be made.
However, from a service standpoint, the experience with the staff was "super pleasant" as someone mentioned on TripAdvisor, they were also quick in preparing the food and helpful in recommending what type of burger I must try.
In the end, my order consisted of a £7.95 B & Ohh! Burger, a filthy kebab meal, and two oat shakes which are exclusive to only Designer Outlet. The store is only open from 9am to 8pm daily, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays.
What is the food like from The Filthy Vegans in the food court at Designer Outlet?
The food is visually appetising and a treat to eat but areas could be better.
The kebab was full of flavour with its fresh salad, sriracha and mayo saucing which does provide for a nice spicy kick, and it doesn't look like something you'd find at the bottom of the bin like your usual meat kebabs.
The only downfall for me and a customer on TripAdvisor was that the soy protein pieces were "impossible to chew" due to their rubbery texture paired with the naan bread. It made it quite difficult and "inedible" to eat, and the fries I had were stone cold.
But for Filthy Vegans B & Ohh! Burger, its taste shines through with its generous use of saucing, crunchy salad and onion rings. The only issue I had was that the onion rings could have been crisper and the vegan cheese leaves you with a bitter, tangy aftertaste.
Then for the drinks, the summer berries oak shake which is not featured on their menu but was suggested to me was the best part of the experience. Its use of fresh fruits helps to deliver a flavourful delicious drink, paired with its seedy texture and cherry-pink appearance.
And for those who are a fan of McDonald's Strawberry milkshake would love their oak shake version as it is quite reminiscent in taste, the only difference is it includes fresh fruits and has a velvety texture that is ever so light on your stomach that I was even tempted on fetching another.
The only setback from making this drink perfect was its bland appearance paired with its use of decorative strawberry syrup.
In general, the food and service at Filthy Vegan are top-notch for a fast-food restaurant in terms of taste and variety but don't expect anything grand as it is clear to see some items on their menu could do with further improvements.
Yet it is an ideal place to embark on to try new foods so why not give it ago?
What's stopping you from trying plant-based food?
It's quite pricey
It lacks flavour and has a horrible texture
It ain't the same as other street food out there
Nothing - Already am a lover of plant-based food
