I’m Ollie. I’m honoured that you’ve took the time to look through my work. As you can see, I have a passion for the creative arts, whether that is writing, filming, editing, or producing content.

 

I’m only on the verge of developing my craft, and I know without a doubt that there is still a lot more that I need to master. My mission with this portfolio is to help highlight my potential to employers, my fellow creatives and to those who may seek my expertise.

 

Ideally, my aim is to seek out new opportunities to work for, or with different businesses with an end goal in mind whether that be through an internship, a permeant position, or some form of work experience.

 

The ambition is to develop my own skills, harness my abilities and to foster some new relationships. Preferably, I want to expand my knowledge and find my true calling whether that be in PR, Marketing, Videography, social media content creation or Journalism.

 

To give you a bit more insight into who I am. I’m a recent Journalism graduate from the University of Derby, who is based within the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire region.

 

Alongside my studies, I had the opportunity to complete a weeks’ worth of work experience with Derbyshire Live and a social media marketing internship with Dubrek Studios.

 

In May 2023, I launched my very own podcast called Beyond the Artist. The main focus of the podcast was to help vocalise different voices within the creative artists industry as many do go unheard. From all of these experiences and my sheer determination, I managed to get to speak too and interview some truly wonderful and well-established individuals.

 

From the likes of Stephen Fox, Steve Ward, Violetta D’Gata, Steve Hart, Jay Dean, Phil Harris, Gavin Rummery, Luke Beastall, Jay Darcy and many more. For a variety of stories that affects the wider general public, including attending and covering an assortment of events.

 

Since then, I’ve known without a doubt that my expertise expand across content creation. I also learnt, especially within recent that my passion lays in music, wellbeing, fitness, culture, news, and entertainment.
